2008 TOURNAMENT RULES    

Tournament rules meeting to begin at 6:30 pm evening before tournament at Corydon General Store, located at the corner of rt. 321 and 346, 1 mile from Willow Bay.  Meeting IS NOT mandatory. Tournament Director can be reached at (814) 362-1423

This will be a live release tournament, but there will be no penalty for dead fish. 

You may fish by yourself, or you may have as many substitutes as needed! 

You must fish one of the first two tournaments to qualify for Team Of Year awards! 

Points will stay with team captain (boat owner unless otherwise noted and told to director ahead of  time). In case of tie for Team of Year, Any prize money will be split evenly, and the Angler with the most weight for the entire series will be declared the winner, and the partner that the angler chooses. Second tie breaker, team with most wins or highest finish.  

You must launch from Willow Bay Ramp unless prior notice is given to director. You must still have a fair play boat inspection before beginning fishing.. 

Each team member is required to have a valid Pennsylvania fishing license if age requires, and must abide by all applicable laws.

All boats must comply with all U.S. Coast guard and appropriate states requirements. 

P F D’s must be worn when main combustion engine is running in gear above trolling speeds. 

You may not leave your boat at any time during the tournament, unless there is an emergency, severe weather storm or bathroom. 

You may not come in contact with any other boat, and use of any type of communication device is prohibited, except for emergency. 

Tournament contestants are responsible for determining whether the conditions are safe or not.  

ALL boats are to be inspected before they launch, at which time they will receive that days boat number. You must bring that number in to the check in table regardless if you are weighing any fish. This boat number each day will be used afterwards towards other things, to be announced at a later date. Boat inspections to begin at 5:30 am at the ramp. 

Teams may bring no more than 5 legal fish to the scales each day. Minimum size limit is 15”. Bringing an undersized fish, or to many to the scale will disqualify team for that days prizes, including big fish. All fish will be measured on the official tournament scale. Please check your measuring device against the tournaments official measuring device! 

In the event of a tie, the positions prize money and points shall be split equally between the tied teams, and either a coin toss or fish off will decide the out come of plaques. This is to be determined between the tournament director and the teams involved only. 

Start time will begin at 7:00 am, and arrival time will be at 3: 30 pm. 

Payouts are based on number of teams as follows, 1-15 = 3 places, 16-60 =5 places, 61-100 =8 places, 101 - 150 = 10 places, 151 teams and up pays 20 places. 

Liability/Waiver - Kinzua Outdoors, board members, partners, employees, helpers, sponsors, promoters, tournament directors, and organizations assisting in the tournament operation are not responsible for injuries, deaths, damages, liability, theft, fire, or any loss of any kind to contestants and their equipment. Each entrant, upon signing an entry form, will be signing a waiver on that form stating that they assume full responsibility for the above and their actions are voluntary. It is there responsibility to determine if the conditions are not safe. Disqualification from the tournament for any reason will result in forfeiture of entry fee. The Tournament Director’s ruling will be the final decision in any rules interpretation.
