3rd Annual "Take a Vet" fishing event

Kinzua Outdoors hosts  annual “Take a Vet” fishing event.

Kinzua Outdoors will be holding their 3rd Annual “Take a Vet” fishing event on Saturday August 9th. This event is not just for a Vet, but for “ALL” men and woman who have, or is currently serving in our military. Anglers may have as many participants as they like in the boat, but their must be at least one past or present military person participating.

Anglers participating in the event can sign up the morning of the event starting at 7:00 am at Willow Bay boat ramp. The fishing hours will be from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, at which time they will all return to the Corydon General store parking lot for the afternoon events.

Each vet will be allowed to weigh their largest walleye, and Plaques and Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 big walleyes brought to the scales. Anglers along with their families will be treated to an all you can eat beef buffet and beverages.

At this time, Corporate sponsors for this event include: Zippo / Case visitors center, Fairway Ford, Crescent Beer, and American Legion Post No 135 Warren, Pa.. There are still sponsorship opportunities available.
