This past weekend the Kinzua Outdoors - Northern Tier Inc Walleye Circuit concluded the 2010 season. In a big way this years top team not only triumphed over the rest of the teams, but they defeated one of the toughest bodies of water to be consistent on, the mighty Kinzua Reservoir.

Besting a field of very tuff and seasoned veteran anglers was the team of DeWayne Cawley - Steve Colley both from Bradford, Pa. This team dominated from start to finish this year picking up where they left off last year at the season ending event by taking first place, and never looked back.

DeWayne and Steve accomplished something this year that no other team was able to do, and proved just how important having 5 in the box every day is on the Kinzua Reservoir. Placing in every event this year starting with a win in the first event, a 4th place finish (their worst) in the second event, a 2nd place finish along with big fish honors in the third event, and finishing strong with a 3rd place finish in the last event, DeWayne and Steve not only place in the top at each event, but they are also the only team to bring in their 5 fish limit each day.

Starting the fourth tournament, DeWayne and Steve were extremely relaxed. The team had found out that in fact they didn't need to catch a fish for the fact they had already wrapped up the Team of the year title, no matter what any team did, no one could catch them.

I have fished for years with these guys and I am proud to have these two anglers represent us. No other team worked harder this year, and they are always true sportsman, quiet and humble, great job guys - you deserve it.

In a close battle for the Runner-up Team of the year, saw  several teams within distance of winning this award. Coming from 7th place the Team of Chuck Sabatose & John Pendleton ( last years T.O.Y. ) rose to the challenge, finishing out a great season where they placed in the top 3 out of 4 events.

Just behind, finishing third overall in a close battle was the tuff team of Rob & Mike Kemick who finished up the season very strong.

With a outstanding performance in the last two events coming from way down in the field and finishing up 4th overall was the team of Al Lockwood & Frank Reilly, great job.

Rounding out the top 5 are two teams tied. Mike Maholic & Brock Haven along with Cubby & Tracy Stewart both brought their A-game this past weekend exciting the crowed.
