That is a tuff one J-K.

I fish so many different techniques in a year, and sometimes in a day, I would have to say what ever style is producing the right fish at the time.

With that said, I am known as Mr. Bucktail around here.

Vertical jigging deep water, and Blade baits in the fall would probably be on the top of my list.

I love to feel the "THUNK".

Tom

Stewcat ,
Well you can tell me anything! I don't have a boat to fish from! I spend my time fishing walleye's at the tailwaters!  I only get out on the lake maybe 4 times a year. Hopefully next year I'll have a boat!

Okay, enough about the "THUNK" and I've never heard about a blade bait :)  Must be something you guys at W.R. Case came up with.  LOL

Glenn,

A "blade bait" is a spinnerbait with a propeller on top instead of spinners. At least thats what I "thunk" it was. If Tom is Mr. Bucktail (not what we call him), then Im Mr. Twistertail. Tom has made me cry UNCLE with bucktails when nothing else worked.

I "Thunk" that's what he meant!  So that's a "bladebait"??

Jeez, and all this time I "thunk" a bladebait run by the "Man From Case" was a jig-spinner with propellers made of knife blades!!!  Who can solve this mystery???????

I thought a blade bait was a heddon sonar, or reef runner cicada. I could be wrong - but that's what I "thunk".

Based on this past weekend, I would say it is 50 / 50.

Buy next weekend if we have consistent weather this week, you should see more fish move back into shallow water, they have been in the deeper structure spots this past week for most people.

Sorry , not really the answer your looking for.
